Weather Outlook from National Weather ServiceYet another storm system is going to be smashing into the Route 60 Sentinel area starting on Sunday, according to the National Weather Service. Some areas could see 6 to 10 inches of snow. With high wind speeds in the 20-30 mph range with gusts over 45 mph, blizzard conditions are likely.

We’d like to remind our readers about the Route 60 Sentinel radar function at the top of our page. Simply hover over the Weather button at the top of the page and then click on Radar.

UPDATED: Updated this story with revised forecast on Sunday 07 Feb 2010.  A large portion of the Route 60 reading area will recieve 6-8 inches of snow.  The rest of area could see anywhere from 4 to 6 inches.  Our friends directly to the South might only see 1 to 3 inches.  Wind conditions are still expected to be extremely bad with gusts over 40mph.
