The City of Enid is taking applications for Ward 5 City Commissioner to fill an unexpired term through May 2011.

This position shall be filled by any elector of the State of Oklahoma, at least twenty-five years of age, and who shall be, and for the two years preceding said appointment, a resident in good faith of the City of Enid. The elector shall also be a resident citizen of the ward from which he/she is a candidate.

Applications with attached resumes will be accepted until 5:00 P.M. on May 15, 2010. It is intended that this appointment will be made by the Mayor and Board of Commissioners at their regularly scheduled meeting on June 1, 2010. The Commission may, at its discretion, conduct interviews with applicants at a study session prior to the appointment being made.
