ENID, OK (January 31, 2011) – The City of Enid Solid Waste Department will be changing the pickup day for Enid residents currently receiving Wednesday trash collection, effective the week of February 16, 2011. The changes are being made to improve the efficiency of Solid Waste Department and to better serve the community.

  • Households located between 11th street and 19th street, North of Randolph and South of Chestnut, will begin receiving trash collection on Thursdays.
  • Households located between 26th street and 30th Street, North of Randolph and South of Chestnut, will begin receiving trash collection of Fridays.
  • Households located on East Randolph, between 19th street and 26th street, will begin receiving trash collection on Fridays.
  • Households on East Pine, between 7th street and 10th street, will begin receiving trash collection on Tuesdays.

Regular Wednesday trash collection will not run the week of February 16th, and will be permanently discontinued (with the exception of Holiday make-up collections).
