Welcome to the first full week of 2013. Who’s ready for vacation?

A long-running tradition is this weekend as KNID Radio presents its 17th annual Agrifest Farm Show. KNID.com says, “The KNID Agrifest features exhibits from across the United States representing the latest in agricultural products and services. Over three hundred vendors will be in Enid with the latest in equipment, products, and farm services. Craft booths, home products, and community service vendors are also ready for the KNID Agrifest!”  The farm show is at the Chisholm Trail Expo Center on Friday and Saturday.

There are also several sporting events in Enid this week as high school and junior colleges get back in session. Basketball tops the list with a rivalry game tonight at NOC-Enid plays host to NOC-Tonkawa at the Mabee Center. Thursday tips off the Wheat Capital Basketball Tournament at Chisholm High School. Eight area high schools bring their girls and boys teams to Chisholm to determine tournament supremacy. It’s usually a fun and competitive tournament and this year should be no exception.
