Jeremy Schneider, 38, was arrested this morning for Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Paraphernalia, Distribution of Child Pornography and Violation of the Computer Crimes Act.

Enid Police Sgt. Dustin Albright began an undercover online investigation into the file sharing of child pornography on January 15, 2014.  He located a user who was sharing known child pornography files.

Officers served a search warrant this morning at Schneider’s residence, 1630 S. Adams.

Schneider was interviewed at his workplace, McDonalds, 4125 W. Garriott.  Schneider admitted that he downloaded the child pornography and that he also was knowingly sharing these files with other users.  Schneider also was in possession of marijuana and paraphernalia at the time of arrest.  He is being held without bond at the Garfield County Detention Facility.
