Traffic Alert: Alternating Lane Closures
Beginning on Wednesday, July 16th, City of Enid crews will be conducting maintenance on the intersection of Oakwood Road and Randolph Avenue, and will be required to close lanes. At least one lane will remain open to the public in all directions. Work is expected to be complete by Thursday, July 17th.


Alternating Lane Closures: Broadway Avenue

Crews will begin to install asphalt on Broadway Avenue, from 3rd Street to 16th Street, on Wednesday, July 16th.  One lane will be open to the public in each direction at all times.  Construction is expected to be completed in approximately two weeks.



Let’s Talk About it, Oklahoma

The Let’s Talk About It, Oklahoma book discussion series will return to the Enid Public Library in August with the theme “Crime and Comedy: The Lighter Side of Murder and Misdemeanor”. The opening discussion will begin at 6 p.m. August 19th with “The Code of the Woosters” by P. G. Wodehouse.

The library will also host two screen events in the Great Plains Room in conjunction with the book series. Episodes from the popular British television series “Jeeves and Wooster” starring Hugh Laurie and Steven Frye, will be shown starting at 5 p.m on Monday, August 18th. “One for the Money” starring Katherine Heigl, will be shown on Monday, October 20th at 5 p.m.
